Sonic Shape Board
Wireless MIDI Motion Controller
The Sonic Shape Board is a wireless MIDI controller balance board. Designed to interface with a Eurorack modular synthesizer, the board enables gestures based on twisting, turning, and spinning, unique motions for modular synthesizer performance, all while keeping the hands free for patching, tweaking knobs, or playing other instruments. The board sends accelerometer and gyroscopic data as CC channels, which can be used for modulating anything, such as waveshaping, saturation, and delay parameters.

Materials
The Sonic Shape Board uses an Adafruit HUZZAH32 Feather Board and an Adafruit 9-DOF motion sensor. The enclosing box was cut from an Epilog Helix laser cutter.
